    Ray Tilkens

    At the age of five Ray began piano lessons. Soon to follow were violin, viola and voice. The Sixties had a profound influence on him as his focus shifted to guitar and songwriting.

    Meanwhile, Ray's pursuit to craft beautiful songs soon led to the building of a recording and production facility, known as Ambient Productions, which has been a trusted name in the recording industry since 1979. Ray's skills as a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, mandolin, keyboard) have earned him hundreds of credits on his clients’ projects.

    Join us for a rare concert of Ray Tilkens' original songs at Amazing Grace Coffeehouse on Sunday, October 3rd.

    Rick’s distinctive finger-style guitar work and rich vocal agility, coupled with Margaret’s sweeping, energy-driven style creates a musical phenomenon where seemingly disparate elements converge individually and then emerge together as one, creating their distinctive, self-described genre of Emergent Folk Rock.

    With a candid transparency, LaRocca will carry the listener on a journey of Love and Spirit, through songs and stories, laughter and tears, leaving behind their unique soul-print.

    The Amazing Grace Coffeehouse makes its home at Oliver's Carriage House (home of Kittamaqundi Community Church) in Columbia, Maryland on the FIRST SUNDAY of every month.
